SIM Swap Fraud

What is SIM Swap Fraud?

SIM swap fraud is a type of fraud that is on the rise. It occurs when fraudsters gain unauthorized access to your My Account and replace your SIM card information with their own. Once the fraudster replaces your SIM card, all communications will be redirected to their phone, allowing them to intercept recovery SMS/calls and gain access to your personal banking, e-commerce, email and social media accounts. As part of our commitment to protect our customers’ personal information, we have robust security protocols in place that are designed to protect the privacy and security of our customers.
