Mark Your Phone Lost or Stolen

If your phone is lost or stolen, you can put your services on hold if you’d like to prevent any calls or messages from being sent or received. Doing so will not keep your plan from expiring; however, it will ensure that your payment method is not charged at your next renewal date.

Just follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Public Mobile app or My Account
  2. Navigate to ‘Account’.
  3. Choose ‘Report Lost/Stolen Device’.
  4. Click on ‘Put my services on hold’.
  5. Confirm by selecting ‘Yes’.
If You Find Your Phone

Hooray! Simply follow the same steps below to resume your service.

  1. Log into the Public Mobile app or My Account
  2. Go to ‘Account’.
  3. Tap ‘Report Lost/Stolen Device’.
  4. Choose ‘Resume Services’.
  5. Confirm by clicking 'Okay'.

Note: You can also purchase a new SIM card at select TELUS, Koodo and Mobile Klinik retail locations. Alternatively, check our Get a SIM article for more options.
