The help you need, anytime you need it

Use the search bar, or choose from one of the topics below to find answers to (almost) any question with our help articles.

Ask a Question on the Community

Once you’ve created your Community Nickname, you’ll be able to get and give help by starting a topic or responding to questions. If you haven’t created a Community Nickname yet, click here to get started.

Getting answers through the Community is simple and can be done in two ways:

1. Use the search bar

The search bar will bring up the most relevant Community content and questions.

Tips for using search in the Community:

  • Use generic terms to increase your chances of finding relevant content. For example, you can search “Service not working” instead of “I haven’t been able to make calls all day”
  • Read more than just one result, just because the first post didn’t answer your question, doesn’t mean the next won’t
2. Click 'Ask a Question':

If you can't find an answer through search, select 'Ask a Question' under the search bar to post it in the Community. Our team of Super Users, including Oracles, will answer your question quickly.

Tips for asking a question in the Community:

  • Do not include any personal information such as your phone number, payment details, contact information, or address
  • Provide specific details such as what the issue is, when it started, what services are impacted, and any troubleshooting you’ve tried
  • Remember that Public Mobile Community members are subscribers, just like you. They can’t make changes to your account, but they can help you to make changes on your own

Best Practices

Here are 5 best practices that we recommend when using the Public Mobile Community:

  • Search before posting: Before posting a question or concern on the Community, use the search function to see if it has already been addressed. It’s possible that someone else has already asked the same question and received a solution.
  • Be specific: When posting a question or concern, provide as much detail as possible. This will help other Community members understand your issue and provide a more accurate solution.
  • Be respectful: The Community is a space for open discussion and collaboration. Be respectful to other members, even if you disagree with an opinion or solution. Avoid using offensive or derogatory language.
  • Give back: If you’ve received help from a Community member, consider giving back by answering questions or providing solutions to others. Not only will this help build a stronger Community, but it can also earn you rewards from Public Mobile.
  • Follow Community Guidelines: Make sure to read and follow the Community Guidelines to avoid any disciplinary action. These guidelines are in place to ensure the Community remains a helpful and respectful space for all members.
