How to Pause Your Subscription
If you won’t need your service for a period of time but want to keep your phone number you can pause your subscription for up to 90 days by putting your services on hold. While your services are on hold, your payment method will not be charged, but your account and phone number will be retained. Be sure to resume your services before 90 days, as after 90 days of having your services on hold your account and SIM will be deactivated and you will lose your phone number.
Steps to Pause your Subscription
- Log in to the Public Mobile app or My Account
- Navigate to the 'Subscription' tab.
- Click on ‘Manage Subscription’.
- Choose 'Subscription Renewal'.
- Click on 'Unsubscribe'.
- Confirm your choice by selecting 'Yes'.
Your service remains active until the end of your current subscription period. The expiration date is visible in the ‘Manage Subscription’ area.
After this date you will no longer have service and you will have 90 days to renew your service
