Call Waiting


What is call waiting?


Call Waiting will let you know if another person is calling when you’re already on a call.

When you are on a call, you will hear a tone alerting you that there is another call coming in. Press the SEND key and the first caller will be placed on hold while you answer the second call. Once you have completed the second call, press the SEND key again to return to the first caller.

How do I turn call waiting off?


You can turn Call Waiting off before you make a call, but unfortunately it cannot be disabled for a specific period of time or for a specific incoming call. Call waiting can only be disabled on a per call basis.

To deactivate Call Waiting on your next call – dial*70# followed by the 10 or 11 digit number you want to call, then press SEND
For example: *70#4165555555 SEND


Call Forwarding


What is call forwarding?


You can set up your Public Mobile phone to immediately forward any calls you receive to a different phone number. Only local call forwarding is available.

How do I set up call forwarding?


  • From your Public Mobile phone, dial *72# followed by the 10 digit local number to where the calls are to be forwarded.
    For example *72#4165555555
  • Press SEND and listen for the confirmation tone to indicate the feature has been activated.

How do I turn off call forwarding?


  • Dial*720 from your phone. Press SEND
  • Listen for the confirmation tone to indicate the feature has been deactivated.

3 Way Calling


What is 3 way calling?


3-Way Calling allows you to include a third person in an existing phone conversation.

How do I add another person to an existing call?


  • Press SEND, and the current call will be placed on hold
  • Enter the phone number of the person you wish to add, press SEND
  • Once connected with the third person, press SEND again to connect all parties.
