switch to Public Mobile from within the same local calling area.
Public Mobile is committed to making the transfer of your number as
quick and easy as possible. For mobile phone numbers we try to transfer
your phone number to Public Mobile within 3 hours.
Transferring your home or business phone number usually takes longer. We try to transfer these within 5 days.
The phone number you want to transfer must still be active with your
current service provider. Once the transfer has been processed your old
number and account will be deactivated.
To get your phone number transferred, visit a Public Mobile store
and bring valid picture ID and the most recent bill you received from
your current service provider. Make sure your name and address are
showing on the bill. Your Public Mobile sales representative will start
your new account that day and you will receive a text message on your
Public Mobile phone when the transfer is complete.
