Position Summary:
The Manager RF Engineering reports to the Director of Technology and Engineering and is responsible for Planning and Engineering of the RF access portion of the Network in Ontario or Quebec. The responsibility is inclusive of coverage, capacity and performance of the RF Network.
The Manager will directly manage a very small staff and will work cross functionally with other departments within Public Mobile as well as strategic vendors to accomplish tasks and drive results. The position requires extensive interface with Network Operations, Network Technology, Network Engineering, Site Acquisition & Development and Vendor & Contract Management as well as strategic vendors. Similar but not as extensive interfaces are required with Sales, Marketing, Customer Care and Legal departments.
Duties are inclusive of:
- Planning, engineering, deployment support and optimization of the initial networks.
- Long term dimensioning of coverage, capacity and spectrum needs of the Network.
- Define, maintain and audit standards and processes related to coverage, capacity and performance used by Public Mobile and its strategic vendors.
- Define key performance indicators and work with strategic vendors and internal departments to ensure success.
- Define and maintain Operational measurements and Optimization parameters for the RF Network.
- Create annual Capex and Opex budget forecasts.
- Create ad hoc capacity, coverage and optimization work orders to strategic vendors.
- Specify, validate and maintain Tools and Test equipment used by Public Mobile and strategic vendors.
- Drive and maintain Regulatory compliance such as Safety Code 6, E911 database, etc
- Specify and maintain critical RF databases.
- Specify coverage maps for internal use as required.
- Create executive reports for Director/VP/CTO.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in wireless RF Engineering with at least 2 in a leadership role. CDMA technology preferred.
- Good knowledge of propagation, air interface, capacity analysis, CDMA optimization, test equipment, tools, operational measurements and regulatory requirements.
- BSc or MSc in Engineering.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional ability to lead and team with cross functional departments and vendors.

Position Summary:
Based in Montreal, Reporting to the Director Sales and Distribution, the Bilingual Regional Sales Manager must be fluent in French and English (both verbal and written) and is responsible for cultivating new business and maintaining established accounts in his/her Region. The Regional Sales Manager prospects and develops relationships with prospective customers, converting them to customers. As part of our energetic sales team you will meet or exceed monthly sales quota, generate and follow-up on sales leads, establish, develop and maintain relationships with targeted retail agents and distributors, conduct equipment demonstrations, and establish relationships with area associations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accomplishing the targeted sales in line with the company’s strategic direction.

Qualifications:
- Bilingualism in verbal and written French and English is required.
- Requires experience in business, marketing, sales, or a related filed. A Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing is preferred.
- Preference for 4+ years related sales experience and 2+ years sales experience or experience which demonstrates a solid understanding of the wireless device industry. 2+ years People and/or Account Management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Position requires a current working knowledge of the 'home' sales territory, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and technical aspects of the product.
- Have the capability of selling targeted products to targeted accounts in his/her own territory.
- Have the ability to drive and develop a new mobile phone market with passion with intensity.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate Business degree required, an MBA is preferred
- An understanding of Channel Strategy/Sales Strategy, 4-6 years experience required
- Strong tactical marketing skills
- Previous marketing experience required in a fast-paced environment, ideally with exposure to both Consumer and Business segments/channels
- Experience with sales effectiveness programs

Position Summary:
Responsibilities
- Work with our internal departments conducting testing, initial deployments, or standard operations to diagnose and resolve problems related to Public Mobile’s products & services.
- Key interface between Customer Operations and the Network Operation Center. Maintain an awareness of network issues, outages and future builds.
- Develop the customer issue tracking procedures, identify trends and make recommendations on avoidance of high frequency issues
- Interface with various systems in testing, analyze and solve customer reported issues. Obtains pertinent information through fact-finding on submission of trouble reports
- Track critical issues, typically will be received via email and phone and resolved through use of interaction with internal departments (which may require an occasional site visit to our Contact Centers in Belleville for the day)
- Utilize Public Mobile and / or 3rd party diagnostics tools, interacting with third party organizations such as wireless service providers
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience working in a related technical support and troubleshooting environment including familiarity with customer technical support concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong written & verbal communication, bilingualism (English/French) is a definite asset.
- Strong listening and trouble shooting skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of wireless technology, hardware and related software.
- Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
- BS in Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Requires someone who is comfortable managing objection-handling with senior level technology managers, as well as being comfortable working with customers in a phone support capacity.
- A proactive nature, willing to take initiative and seek challenges, balancing known risks against time to meet objectives in a systematic approach.
- Resourceful self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Works well both individually and within a team and takes pride in the overall achievements of the team as well as personal accomplishments.

Position Summary:
Public Mobile is looking for a French \ English translation specialist to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about building the language for Public Mobile. Based in either Toronto or Montreal and reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Bilingual Translation Specialist must be fluent in French and English (both verbal and written)
Responsibilities:
- Translation, editing and proofreading of all company documents including Legal Documents, Policies and Procedures, Handbooks and Manuals, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations Materials, Training Materials and Scripts.

Position Summary:
The Director Engineering reports to the CTO and is responsible for the planning, design and optimization of our wireless networks across Ontario and Quebec. The responsibility is inclusive of core network engineering, RF design, contract assistance and transport networks, as well as device (subscriber equipment) certification. To meet these responsibilities, the Director will work closely with all departments, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Regulatory and Legal.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, engineering, deployment support and optimization of the initial networks working with the outsource vendor.
- Long term dimensioning of coverage, capacity and spectrum needs of the network. Managing short term dimensioning of these elements working with the outsource vendor.
- Providing direction to the network engineering resources of the outsource vendor.
- Understanding and directing vendor technology development, and adjusting Public Mobile plans accordingly.
- Define, maintain and audit standards and processes related to coverage, capacity and performance used by Public Mobile and its strategic vendors.
- Define key performance indicators and work with strategic vendors and internal departments to ensure success.
- Define Operational measurements and Optimization parameters for the Network.
- Create annual network growth forecasts.
- Drive and maintain Regulatory compliance such as Safety Code 6, E911 database, etc
- Create executive reports for VP/CTO.
- High level project management review and isolated troubles across vendor products.
- Presents a broad knowledge of innovative and state-of-the-art industry protocol to achieve a cost effective wireless system solutions. Should be considered a subject matter expert in the wireless engineering methods.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in wireless RF and /or Core network Engineering with direct experience in a leadership role deploying wireless networks, preferably with CDMA technology.
- A broad knowledge of innovative and state-of-the-art industry protocols to achieve a cost effective wireless system solutions. Should be considered a subject matter expert in the wireless engineering methods.
- BSc or MSc in Engineering.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional ability to lead and team with cross-functional departments and vendors.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director Sales and Distribution, the Dealer Business Manager is responsible for cultivating new business and maintaining established accounts in his/her Region. The Dealer Business Manager prospects and develops relationships with prospective customers, converting them to customers. As part of our energetic sales team you will meet or exceed monthly sales quota, generate and follow-up on sales leads, establish, develop and maintain relationships with targeted retail agents and distributors, conduct equipment demonstrations, and establish relationships with area associations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver sales objectives on a dealer principal/dealer location/territory basis.
- Secure new dealer principals and new points of distribution with existing dealers.

Qualifications:
- Requires experience in business, marketing, sales, or a related filed. A Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing is preferred.
- Preference for 4+ years related sales experience and 2+ years sales experience or experience which demonstrates a solid understanding of the wireless device industry. 2+ years People and/or Account Management.
- Position requires a current working knowledge of the 'home' sales territory, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the features, benefits, and technical aspects of the product.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Distribution, the Director of National Retail is responsible for cultivating new business and maintaining established National and Regional Accounts. You will also build a small team of National and Regional account managers that will manage account relationships on an on-going basis. Qualifications:
- University degree or minimum 6 years of equivalent experience in a relevant senior sales leadership role)
- Minimum 5 years of experience effectively managing key retail accounts in Canada
- Minimum of 3 years of proven success in a senior sales management role managing large volumes of sales and effective teams across multiple regions
- Documented success when managing other managers

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Customer Experience, the Reporting Analyst will work with a cross-functional team in the areas of Operations, IT, Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Finance to deliver and enhance key reporting and analytic capabilities to the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Operations KPI’s – Creation and maintenance of consolidated daily, weekly & monthly reporting for key functions within the Operations group (e.g. call centre, IVR, logistics, retail, etc.) for the purposes of ongoing and ad hoc analysis. Collect, manipulate and analyze data from various systems. Ensure KPI’s from other functional areas (e.g. Marketing, Engineering, etc.) are communicated on a timely basis within the Customer Experience & Operations team.
- Customer Satisfaction – Assist with the ongoing measurement and reporting of Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) results
- Customer Knowledge – Collect and analyze key customer data impacting customer experience, through primary data (Voice of the Customer), Marketing research and other types of research.
- Business Analysis – Working with various internal groups, responsible for understanding (through customer needs analysis) and defining future reporting capabilities (business requirements/change requests) for various IT systems. Work with the IT group, including Application Owners, to deliver new reporting capabilities based on the agreed-upon systems roadmap.
- Reporting Capabilities Inventory – Maintain ongoing list of current reporting capabilities across various systems.
- Competitive / Industry Intelligence – Working with Marketing, ensure relevant information regarding performance benchmarks across Canadian and US carriers is communicated and shared within the Customer Experience and Operations team.
Qualifications:
- Experience – 2+ years experience in an Analyst function. Experience working in or across multiple enterprise groups such as Marketing, Sales and Customer Care. Experience in the telecommunications industry is strongly preferred.
- Education – Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a business-related field.
- Communication Skills – Ability to articulate and communicate complex data into understandable and actionable reporting.
- Analytical Skills – Strong analytic skills, including statistical and/or financial modeling skills.
- Technical Skills – Exceptional MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Access & PowerPoint. Experience with other MIS/BIS systems (e.g. Cognos) a plus.
- Work Style – Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong work ethic and high degree of self motivation. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous work environment.
